CALL FOR PAPERS
IASTED International Conference on
COMPUTERS AND ADVANCTED TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION (CATE 2000)
May 24-27, 2000
Cancun, Mexico
SPONSOR
The International Association of Science and Technology for Development (IASTED)
LOCATION
One of Mexico's finest resorts, Cancun is a sun worshipper's paradise. Located on the Yucatan Peninsula, it was once the playground of the kings and a place of rest for Mayan Emperors. For relaxing, admiring the beauty of nature, exploring archeological wonders, or scuba diving in crystal clear Caribbean waters, there is no other place like Cancun. It is also close to some of the most accessible Mayan ruins on the mystical "Ruta Maya", notably Tulum, Coba and Chichen Itza. Cancun is only six miles from the Isla Mujeres. Your experience in this land of enchantment will be truly magical.
PURPOSE
The International Conference on Computers and Advanced Technology in Education will act as an international forum for scientists and educators involved in research, development and implementation of computers and advanced technology in education. Educators concerned with the impact of new technologies on education, and engineers and computer scientists concerned with the creation and implementation of new educational technologies will benefit greatly from CATE 2000. The conference will include keynote addresses, tutorials and contributed papers on a wide range of topics in this area. The conference will attract both academics implementing new technologies, as well as engineers and scientists working to develop new technologies.
