Produced in collaboration with the Global SchoolNet Foundation, they offer a wealth of in-depth resources, examples, models, guides and tutorials to support and expand ideas, information and skills provided through WorLD Program training workshops.

October saw WorLD training activities take place in seven countries! Highlights included regional workshops in Peru and Mozambique, national training sessions in Chile and Zimbabwe, and computer maintenance courses for educators in Senegal.

National Geographic recently released its new free MapMachine!

Encyclopedia Britannica recently decided to offer on-line access to the contents of its massive database of information free of charge! Since the announcement, they have had some difficulties handling the increase in traffic (so you may want to check back again if the site is busy when you try to access it)
