[Happy Ramadan and Happy Hanukah to Muslim and Jewish friends on the list]

Two co-authors (Heidi Shetzer and Christine Meloni) and I have recently reached agreement with TESOL Publications to publish Internet for English Teaching, a practical guide for ESL/EFL teachers. The book is more or less modeled after a book I wrote (and also published by TESOL) in 1995, called E-Mail for English Teaching, but, I hope, much better :-). Though the book is practical in nature, it integrates in a fair amount of theory and research and I hope it will be well-received by a variety of audiences.

The earlier book, E-Mail for English Teaching, was translated into Chinese and Japanese, and I think this book has excellent translation potential as well. I am looking for potential publishers in any language, and especially Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic. Translation rights would have to be negotiated with TESOL Publications, but they're not very expensive.

If any of you are in touch with companies who may be interested in publishing a translated version of the book, please let me know.

By the way, the book should appear approximately summer 2000.
