Dear Mark,

We are one of the papyrus subscribers. You're disseminating very useful infos. Thank you.

We are representatives of Tbilisi State Medical University, Georgia. We work for the Analitical and Information center.

We are developing plans for a distance education and virtual courses in medicine. It has some valid reasons: we want to establish ourselves as a modern medical university, to help our students to get an international license and etc.Our early attempts at on-line education were successful. It was fulfilled by one of our colleagues in the Information and Analitical Department Ilia Razmadze. He designed an animated course in biochemistry. We are intending to continue designing some other major courses. But we recognize that it is difficult to realize the project without cooperation. Will you be so kind to suggest any organization or groups to get necessary course materials and all necessary support in order to collaborate and begin to discuss ways in which we can be involved in its development.

Mark, have you got any information about the developing plans for a distance learning international medical school? This will be offered through London University.

Thank you for your time.

With best wishes,

Tsisana Tsiskaridze
