Now that a military assault has begun against the Taliban (by the way,
does it bother anybody else that they have appropriated the name "Students"), I
suppose that regime will fall shortly. I had a very pleasant dream last night
that instead of bringing back warloads, kings, tribal leaders, etc.,a council
of 120 Afghan women came together to rule the country. (Oh well, it was only a
dream....)
