I am writing a book on the interrelationships between language and technology, and I would be very interested in receiving anecdotes from people in different parts of the world about instances they have perceived in their own culture(s) about the ways technologies and language interact. Specifically, ways in which technologies such as writing, printing, telecommunications, and computers have had an impact on language and language use; OR, vice-versa, ways in which language and language use have influenced features of technology and/or practices that involve technological tools.
