WASHINGTON - The Web-based Education Commission, chaired by Sen. Bob Kerrey (D-Neb.), today called for an immediate national focus to fulfill the Internet's promise to help transform learning and improve achievement. Unveiling the most comprehensive analysis ever undertaken of education and the Internet, the Commission urged that President-elect Bush and the leaders of the new 107th Congress embrace "e-learning" as a centerpiece of our national education agenda....
