Good news. Papyrus News reader Vance Stevens (vstevens at of AMIDEAST in Abu Dhabi has generously offered to maintain online archives of Papyrus News. He is gradually putting up the back messages and will attempt to keep current messages posted. To access the archives, see <>. I've also included a link to the archive page from the Papyrus News information home page <>, which is always listed in the introductory paragraph above.

Another reader, Khalid Abalhassan (, has come up with a good idea. Abalhassan maintains a mailing list of his own called TSL (The Saudi Linguist, a communication arena for linguists mainly from Saudi Arabia and potentially from the Arab world -- to subscribe or ask questions, contact Anyway, Abalhassan decided to put his entire mailing list on Papyrus News.
