I just returned from a wonderful trip to California and Vancouver.  It's amazing how California has changed since I moved away in 1991 (I'm a native of Los Angeles).  The economy is booming, housing prices are skyrocketing, universities are expanding--a far cry from most of the other places I've been the last few years. Vancouver was gorgeous, though rainy, and the weather is pretty nice in Cairo this time of year too.

Here are a few miscellaneous links. Please continue to send interesting info and links.
