Vance: Good idea. It would be useful to know Mandarin in China. Then you can claim you're a student.

Ying-Lan: What's kind of sites?

Roy: no

Roy: In my school I speak italian

Maggi: His father works in physiotherapy and needs it to read journals and other information

Vance: How did you find us, Roy?

Roy: my father find you

Maggi: I know someone now that I can practice Italian with...:-)

Roy: I don't know how

Vance: Just curious.

Maggi: You are right...at least for Europe at the moment.

Roy: I'm in the second year of secondary

Vance: From Chile! Great country. I was there a couple of years back. I especially enjoyed Pucon.

Ying-Lan: ^What is the native language in Switzerland?

Maggi: Vance has been everywhere!

Maggi: There is not one native language Ying...

Maggi: It depends where you live...

Roy: the most important language is deutsch

Vance: Very relaxing place ... have you been to the top of the volcano?

Member 76: No my family was on the "cavern"

Maggi: I would love to visit these places in South America.

Roy: I speak also spanish

Vance: I was studying Spanish and speaking it some in Chile, but I don't know Spanish all that well.

Maggi: I did but in Mexico...it is not the same Spanish they speak in Sprain

Maggi: do you have a problem between Spanish and Italian Roy?

Vance: I like going in caves, but I didn't know about the cavern.

Ying-Lan: ^I can not image why you can speak these language, Roy, you are only a teenage now.

Roy: no I speak spanish only when I am in Mexico

Member 76: How long did you stay in Pucon?

Maggi: It it easier for him Ying...

Ying-Lan: ^I have been studying English for over 15 years. I still can not speak good Engilsh....

Roy: but my german is not good

Vance: 5 days, enough to climb the mountain, go rafting, and visit the baths.

Maggi: I met a boy once who was only 6 and spoke 5 languages fluently.

Roy: wow

Ying-Lan: Talent

Maggi: Spoke them...with other children

Ying-Lan: WooooW

Maggi: no children want to communicate to play...

Maggi: ...it is very motivating

Maggi: it is not talent...necessity..

Maggi: I learned German because I wanted to talk to people.

Ying-Lan: ^Last week, I watched TV show... it was a Japanese Tv progam.. There was a French who spoke good Japanese.... I was so scare that.

Maggi: Why scared Ying?

Vance: scared of that?

Maggi: a Frenchman or a woman?

Ying-Lan: ^I have studied Jpanese when I was in juiour College. But I can not speak Japnaese eventhoug I studied it hard.

Maggi: you never had anyone to practice with

Vance: You need to have a NEED to be motivated to study a language.

Ying-Lan: Yes, I did.

Vance: to learn it, I mean.
